Get dressed! 01:42
Get Dressed! Get Dressed! When you wake up in the morning get dressed! Open up your sleepy eyes Put your head in a shirt Put some feet in your socks and get dressed! Well you wake up every morning So why do you look so surprised When I give you the same old warning You get a strange look in your eyes What day is it? Is it morning? Who are you? Where’s mommy? Just listen up kid and get dressed! Get dressed! When you wake up in the morning get dressed! Now I know you’d like to fake it and walk around naked But the cat is acting weird so get dressed! Dixie Break Get Dressed! Get Dressed! When you wake up in the morning get dressed! Open up your sleepy eyes Put your head in a shirt Put some feet in your socks Put a leg in each hole Take your pajamas off your head Take your pants off again You forgot your underwear Do I have to spell it out And tell you every step Just listen to me kid and Get dressed! Please . . .

Sophia Catalina, Sophia Catalina I’ll see ya when I see ya Sophia Catalina Please come home You bite my ear in the morning Then disappear without a warning You push my hand with your face I could never pet another in your place Sophia Catalina stop breaking my heart and come home Sophia Catalina, Sophia Catalina I’ll see ya when I see ya Sophia Catalina Please come home When I call you every night Sophia Cat, it’s not right I feed you fish open my house You run away and you leave me a headless mouse Sophia Catalina stop breaking my heart and come home Sophia Catalina, Sophia Catalina I’ll see ya when I see ya Sophia Catalina Please come home Walk like a Cat Talk like a Cat Blink like a Cat Wink like a Cat Stretch like a cat Sophia Catalina why you do me like that? One of these days you’re gonna miss me You’ll search around but you won’t sniff me All my black clothes will still be black And you’ll be crying at my door because you need me to come back!

When you walk with a friend You take every step together When the weather is fair Or when it could be better There’s a time and place You know you’ll see their face So you walk through the cold and rain And when you get to the end you want to go back again Just to walk with a friend When you walk with a friend You know someone’s gonna be there waiting On your way every day They’ll call you if you’re hesitating Every dog that sniffs, every tree you see Is a sign along the way That says this world is fine This world is mine Cause I’m walking with a friend today When you walk with a friend You’ll have someone there to see When you find a lucky dime Or lose your balance and scrape your knee With a friend who cares You’ve got somebody there To split a chocolate bar or share bad news You’ll know what to do Cause there’s two of you So you’ll never get the lonesome blues When you walk with a friend You take every step together When the weather is fair Or when it could be better There’s a time and place You know you’ll see their face So you walk through the cold and rain And when you get to the end you want to go back again Just to walk with a friend When you walk with a friend You know someone’s gonna be there waiting On your way every day They’ll call you if you’re hesitating Every dog that sniffs, every tree you see Is a sign along the way That says this world is fine This world is mine Cause I’m walking with a friend today No I'll never have the lonesome blues When I'm walking with a friend like you

It’s disappointing being eaten when you’re little It’s disappointing being eaten when you’re big You'd rather not have it done, cause it doesn't look like fun You’ll lose your friends, you won't recover, it’s the end It’s disappointing to be eaten when you’re swimming It’s disappointing when you’re just standing there Cause even if they do it kind or it’s a surprise from behind Your poor mother won’t recover, your father'll lose his hair It’s disappointing being eaten when you’re a hot dog That used to be a muscle in a pig You used to do a whole bunch, now you’re the lazy parent’s lunch Being eaten is the worst thing that there is Moralistic Interlude It’s not so bad being eaten if you’re juicy It’s not so bad being eaten if you’re plump Because you grew on a tree and you’re filled with living seeds That wanna take a ride on the poop slide - whee!! And when their journey is through They’re happy that they’ve been through you Because you gave ‘em what it takes to be a fruit tree

You got your big toe sticking right outta your sock You're chewing on your hair - you do it a lot And every day when I call you for dinner time The only answer that I get is a whine “Aww Dad!” Cause you’re a kid Is it something I did? To make you show up one day and never ever go away Now you’re sleeping in my house and you’re refusing all my food If you weren’t related to me it would be considered rude You got a finger in your nose and a finger in your ear Well I guess you’re only eight but it’s a wonder you can smell and hear When I come home and you’re watching a video You can’t even use your mouth and say “Hello” Cause you’re a kid Is it something your mother did? To make you show up one day and never ever go away Now you’re sleeping in my house and you’re refusing all my food If you weren’t related to me it would be considered rude When I need to show you something you say “Just a minute!” Then come back an hour later when I’m already finished If I’m bored you tell me I should just find something to do But if you can’t take care of children, what’s the point of you? ‘Cause you’re a dad Well, I guess you’re not bad But do you have to do that thing with your face while you sing? And you’re always poking fun while we’re having none I don’t know why you can’t just be a decent person like mom
6.
You hold the can with both hands You’re smiling - a lot You lick the straw and your sticky fingers ‘Cause you can’t stand to miss a drop You got a wrinkled nose where the bubbles go And the colour of your mouth is off I hear a slurp, and then a burp Must be your first time drinking pop You act like chocolate cake’s the reason That you were born with hands Why use a napkin for that ice cream? When I’m standing here wearing pants Just before you sneeze I see your chocolate teeth And I wonder where we went wrong I hear you blow, there’s chocolate snow And the birthday cake is gone Yodelling! I made you soup, the way you like it I took out all the little *bike horn* chunks You’re sitting there, you just stare You know what my dad would have done? My eyes are wide, your mouth is tight We’ve done this dance before You fill your spoon, and then you drop it I’m cleaning cold soup off the floor ‘Cause that’s what a dad is for I always thought I could do more But at least I got to yodel in one song Yodelay-hee-hoo!
7.
I’m walking in front you’re walking behind Haven’t you heard of a thing called time You're taking yours while mine is running out You’re trying not to smile 'cause I’m trying not to shout I’m cleaning spilled milk and I want to cry You filled my whole crossword with the letter Y You didn’t get dressed like I asked you to Maybe today I’ll go to work in my pajamas too . . . So help me I’m trying to see the beauty Trying to be a little less moody But I need you to help develop this negative Into a picture of a place I’d love to live Sucking on a cup with a lid on top A row of middle-aged babies at a traffic stop Sitting on a bench with a dog tied on Looking down instead of looking where the little one’s gone Work late, get up early, don’t forget to brush See me walking hear me talking in a rush, rush, rush I see you staring, see you caring about the drawings you do When was the last time I cared about something like you do? So help me I’m trying to see the beauty Trying to be a little less moody But I need you to help develop this negative Into a picture of a place I’d love to live So help me I’m trying to see the beauty Trying to be a little less moody But I need you to help develop this negative The best picture of a place is One where I can see all of our faces That’s a picture of a place I’d love to live . . .

There’s a bird that won’t stop singing (at the rising sun, at the falling rain) I wish I knew what he was thinking (If thinking’s even a thing in a little bird’s brain) 'Cause he’s certainly dedicated (He always starts before dawn and keeps going too long) Although the audience has dissipated (Even the kids are dressed and life is moving on) Could it be, he's just singing for fun? Someone's singing, for fun Someone’s singing cause they know it can be done Whether people hear is not the reason we’re Here opening our mouths Let’s keep singing, just for us and not for the crowd I know a boy who keeps on whistling Even when nobody’s listening But the train in his brain keeps moving along So there’s nothing I can do but hop right on I think maybe . . . This kid is gonna be a professional whistler one day Someone's whistling, for fun Someone’s whistling cause he knows it can be done Whether people hear is not the reason we’re Pushing air in and out of our mouths Let’s keep whistling, just for us and not for the crowd I know a girl who loves to play And it’s the same song every day That’s why she’s getting better So what can I do but let her play and play and play and play I think maybe . . . her fun has just begun She keeps playing, for fun She keeps playing because she knows it can be done She loves the way it sounds when it comes around And goes on and on and on So she keeps playing, cause she loves her favourite song Let’s keep singing, for fun Let’s keep singing, because we know it can be done Whether people hear is not the reason we’re Here opening our mouths Let’s keep singing and whistling and playing, just for us and not for the crowd Let’s keep singing and whistling and playing our song Just for us and not for the crowd
